1940's Hercules Leather Trimmed Wool Work Jacket

Marked as "50's" in the eBay auction listing, I think this one dates at least as far back as the 1940's. Simple, yet one of the coolest jackets you could find from the era! Sold for $499...prices keep going up!

Repro 45's

There's been a rash of reproduction 45's coming out of the UK and the EU recently of various 1940's - 1960's rockabilly, hillbilly, r&b, soul, etc. . All you need to do is poke around on eBay and you're sure to find some killers. As a DJ, it's nice to be able to find this stuff available on vinyl. It would be nicer to find the original, but some things you just might never have...like this little ditty by Harold Shultters & His Rocats on Goldenrod:

Also take a listen to this crazy hillbilly bopper by the Custer Bottoms - "Stood Up Blues":

Word to the wise though, there are a few 45's being repro'd that are fairly easy to find on original pressings. Be sure to do your research!

1930's or 1940's Beck Northeaster 333 D-Pocket Leather Jacket

Here's one that doesn't come up very often! 1930's or 1940's Beck Northeaster 333...for sale HERE. I'm sure they heavy hitters are coming at the seller from every direction on this one. Anyone venture to guess as to how much this will sell for?

1930's 1940's Bone-Dry Lace to Toe Boots

Sent in by reader and musician Mose Crowfield, these boots would be a fantastic edition to anyones workwear collection. I think they are about a size 9 and will be for sale sooner or later on eBay.

1940's Endicott Johnson Lace to Toe Work Boots

Fantastic pair of 1940's lace to toe work boots made by Endicott Johnson. Oddly described as "monkey boots" (ex-mod or skinhead seller?), they have a rich brown color and are in fantastic shape. Some lucky winner spent $360 for these on ePay.

1930's Shawl Collar Sweater

Shazam! Almost $700 for this plain Jane shawl collar from the 1930's. Killer, but wow what a final value! Wonder if we'll see it walking around on the Boardwalk Empire set next season?
