This fantastic pullover was found over the summer in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan. Probably worn by a logger or miner, it has lot's of character and is still in pretty good wearable shape. I found a similar (or same) one in a 1942 Montgomery Ward catalog that I found at a local flea market this summer too!
sweeeet!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I was excited to find it and in my size! Most of these were worn until gone I think.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shirt! Montgomery Ward's Homesteader brand made great salt and pepper workshirts. I've got a pair of their wartime overalls which are also amazing. Enjoy the great shirt.
