While I appreciate the warpath, all brands of premium selvedged denim start at $175 a pair. Like alternative energy, until we get the cost down the masses cannot afford to change and will not change. Bring union-free looming back to the U.S.A. and we can bring the cost down and instigate a revolution.
Hey Vintage OCD...guess what? You are misdirecting your opinion about one thing on another. The post is about the pollution caused by pre-distressing denim not about how you should spend $300 on a pair of premium jeans. Most people can afford to buy a pair of Levi's shrink to fit jeans. Secondly, the unions are responsible for the middle class existing in this country. When they go, so does our class.
