Big Yank "Yankshire" Wool & Leather Jacket

This fairly accurate reproduction hails from Japan. Part of a brand revival of the Yankshire brand, this Melton wool leather trimmed jacket would be a hit under anyone's Christmas tree. Available for $700 at Hickorees (but unfortunately only in smaller sizes).

1930's Monarch Wool & Leather Jacket

You know I love my wool & leather jackets and this one is a doosey! Greenish gray with brown leather trim is a combination that I've never seen before. Couple that with a shawl collar and belted back and this one is down right amazing. Surprisingly it only sold for slightly over $730 on eBay recently. Could be the fact that it was an XL size. Definitely a civilian use jacket, but it really reminds me a lot of the CCC wool jackets of the same era.

1930's Wool & Leather Shawl Collar Mackinaw Coat

This is one spectacular example of a 1930's wool Mackinaw coat with leather trim! Given the rarity of the XL size and good condition, it's no surprise it sold for nearly $1,300 on eBay recently. No manf. tag, but could easily be a Hercules from Sears. Congrats' to the new owner! They are definitely going to stay warm this winter.

Jacket, jacket, who's got the jacket????

Ok, I think I've posted this one a couple times as it passed through eBay and I personally know 3 people who have owned it. Look who's got it now! Also swathed in layers of Mister Freedom's goods too boot.

Thanks to John at the VEB blog for sharing this one:
