1930's Prospector Buddy Lee

This one sold for just under $200 recently. Love the big hat! Still very fun and interesting item despite the obvious damage.

1950's SUN EP's

Gotta love the streamlined style graphics on these 1950's SUN Records EP's! Fun wrappers for rockabilly, rock n' roll and country classics:

NOTE: The Carl Perkins EP just sold on eBay for over $700!

The Ross Sisters

Dubbed the 'Ross Triplets', they were really three sisters of close physical appearance and similarity. They were born in Texas in the 1920's and later moved to London to perform in the 'Picadilly Hayride'.

This video is definitely a corny jazz standard, but it's an amazing display of flexibility and acrobatic skill:

This clip is from the 1944 musical film "Broadway Rhythm".

2010 Sun Surf Special Edition Hawaiian Shirts

No longer available overseas (not sure why), this season's Sun Surf Special Edition Hawaiian Shirts are pretty mind blowing. The Hawaiian shirt market took a dive along with everything else so the originals are no longer at top dollar. Still a bargain at about $200 a piece from the folks at Hinoya. Here's the pages from the catalog:

NOTE: Serious Hawaiian shirt afficianados are surely aware of Sun Surf by Toyo Enterprise. If not, check them out HERE

Buckminster Fuller Dymaxion House - Henry Ford Museum

Conceived by Fuller in the late 1920's, the Dymaxion House was not built until 1945. Planned as affordable housing for veterans after WWII, they never took off and this is the only complete house remaining. It currently resides at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI. I've seen it several times and this alone makes it worth the trip!

Here's how she looks on display today at the Henry Ford Museum:

1940's Post WWII Garrison Boots

Another eBay score waiting to be had. 1947 post WWII Garrison boots in size 12. Unfortunately, the soles are cracked rendering them unwearable without some repair. Too rich for my blood in this condition at $295 BIN:
