Star of Hollywood Spider Shirt

Not too long ago,  I posted about the Sun Surf reproductions of this shirt that were in their 2011 collection (maybe there will be more this season?). This ORIGINAL version sold on eBay recently for a whopping $3,500! You think the seller would have taken the time to at least steam it out so that it didn't look like it was stored in a balled up condition???!!! Anyhow, it appears to be in fantastic condition and I'm sure the buyer will be thrilled to own such a rare original.

Cigarette Pocket

Here's a neat patent for a cigarette pocket on a work shirt (thanks to "entertainment" on SuFu):

H.W. Carter & Sons x Context

Looks like Context have managed to get their hands on some of the new line from H.W. Carter & Sons. Included are chore jackets, vests, jeans and even a chambray shirt. The denim items are made with Cone Mills fabric and all of the items are listed as being made in the USA!

Levi's Vintage Clothing - 1930's Menlo Jacket

Levi's (LVC) have made several jackets over the years bearing the "Menlo" moniker. I wish I could tell you a little history about the name these jackets bear but I just don't know. What I can tell you is that this latest tan 1930's version of the jacket is absolutely drool worthy! I wish they showed a rear view of the jacket, but it's described as having two side cinches. Made in Italy of 100% sheep leather. Wonder if it has a belted back?  Available now for $900 at Unionmade.

Mister Freedom "Men of the Frontier" Collection - Chaparral Blouse

Mister Freedom is at it again with their unique brand of heritage styling! The latest season, Spring 2012 is called "Men of the Frontier". As you can probably guess, it features stylized versions of clothing from the old(ish) west. My favorite piece so far is the Chaparral Blouse. Inspired by an original 1920's/1930's jacket, it has some amazing details. Here's a look at some of the photos (more info on the MF SITE):
