"Stranded Mines" by Bernarda Bryson Shahn

Bernarda Bryson Shahn (widow of Ben Shahn) was an artist and illustrator who did work for the Resettlement Administration and Farm Security Administration. "Stranded Mines" is a one print lithograph that was completed some time in the early 1930's.

Another amazing find that sold on eBay recently for just under $1,600. Bought by one of the usual suspects, this jacket has all the details that a lot of guys would give their right arm to have! Great patina and looks to be in pretty wearable condition to boot.

This is one of the most amazing Type II jackets I've ever seen! Complete with intricate chain stitching, it went for a cool $1,575 on eBay last week. Keep your eyes peeled for a Japanese or Thai repro...I'm sure one will eventually surface!
