Mine Fresh Finds - Denim Spelunking!
Michael Harris, author of "Jeans of the Old West" is working on gathering data for his next book. Like many other research fields, denim archaeology requires getting your hands dirty! Michael hunts down many of his finds in abandoned mines accompanied by his father-in-law or other helpers. Here's a few of his amazing finds:

Mike is my hero.
Great stuff! I had that boot in in grubby mitts yesterday at the Bowl. Michael & I were discussing the adverse effect the exposed nails on the sole may have had on the inside leg portion of the workers jeans.
