Heller's Cafe x Warehouse - Hercules Wool & Leather Jacket
Heller's Cafe and Warehouse have come up with a pretty accurate version of a 1930's / 1940's Hercules wool and leather workman's jacket. The detailing is fantastic and I'm sure it's of the highest quality too. I particularly like the Talon ball chain and bell shape zippers they've re-created. Stellar!

Conan & The Basic Cable Band Join Los Straitjackets To Perform Live For Charity
Los Straitjackets have been good friends to our show for years and years - even from way back in New York - and they need our help! As our very own Jimmy Vivino himself says: "A very special show is coming up. Myself, The Basic Cable Band and Los Straitjackets are hosting a evening of music and special guests for Danny Amis, guitar player of Los Straitjackets and long-time friend of the show who is suffering from multiple myeloma. All proceeds from the show will go to Danny to help offset his medical expenses from this terrible disease."
Conan, Jimmy, The Basic Cable Band, and Los Straitjackets will performing Tuesday, Jun 7th, at 9:00pm at The Mayan here in Los Angeles with such special guests as:

1930's Lee Chinstrap White Chore Jacket
Last I checked, this was up to over $1,300 with several days left to go on eBay. Yanked for some whopper of a bid I'm sure, we'll never know exactly what it sold for. I'd wager it was over $3,000???!! Either way, somebody got a spectacular and rare jacket:

1940's Zip Up Cardigan Sweater
Yeah, I know that sweater weather is over for the season but this was just too good not to share. Nice dark burgundy color, pleated back and Talon zipper are the details that make it an incredible buy at only $106! Made by Utah Woolen Mills, the winning bidder should feel lucky to win this one on eBay for such a reasonable price.

1930's 1940's U.S. Navy Denim Pullover Deck Jacket
Super rare and in incredible shape, this amazing pullover U.S. Navy denim jacket is being offered on eBay for $3,000 or best offer on eBay. I dream about finding one of these some day at an estate or garage sale! This one is well out of my price range but I hope it goes to a good home.
