1930's 1940's Salt & Pepper Work Pants

Here's the real deal! Posted by Lefty on SuperFuture, these are spectacular! Long gone on eBay, I'm sure they punched a hole in somebody's budget.

Banksy In Detroit

U.K. spray bomber Banksy made a recent visit to Detroit. No surprisingly, some older works have been recently discovered in the city. The Metro Times, Free Press and the Detroit News have articles on this reclusive, mysterious artist. We know he's from the U.K., but

This piece was recently unearthed at the Packard Plant and recovered for preservation by some other local artists at 555 Gallery.

Detroit Tigers - Last of the Mohicans

This spring finds several team members of the Detroit Tigers sporting Mohawk haircuts. Not sure if this is just a team prank or has some deeper meaning, but it has my seal of approval!! The Mohawk or Mohican (British variation) haircut has it's origins with the Mohawk Nation in the U.S., but has been found in various other parts of the world including a 2000 year old "bog man" found near Dublin, Ireland.

1940's 1950's Vintage Pin-up T-Shirt

Killer pin-up tee that sold for slightly over $250 on eBay last week. When is somebody going to do a decent repro of these? I've heard these were sold out of the back of men's magazines and novelty catalogs. Frequently worn by military personnel on leave, they often have sustained lots of damage!

Speedway Japan

John Lofgren, the proprietor of Speedway, is one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable guys in the business. With a strong background in vintage clothing, he's translated his love for workwear into some excellent lines of reproduction clothing. I personally have purchased several items and have been pleased with all of them. Here's a couple of recent items:
