No, in general I don't like "doo wop"...although I definitely like some songs done by groups classified as "doo wop". Btw, the hideous name bestowed on this music didn't occur until much later. Sha Na Na era...late 60's early 70's. Would you call Frankie Lymon's version of Jailhouse Rock "doo wop"?
Yes, I know...some people object to the moniker "doo wop" and prefer "50s vocal groups" or just "R&B". Whatever...I think you know what I was referring to.
I DO dig a lot of the lesser known gems of that genre from the 50s...just wondering if you were keen on it as well.
