Treasure!

Picked up a few goodies while in Chicago over NYE. Got several vintage stud belts from the 30's' - 50's and a nice 30's/40's athletic sweater!

NOTE: I did a little on-line research and found out that the sweater is likely from the mid 1920's to 1930's. More info. on O'Shea Knitting Mills HERE!

I was lucky to get this stuff for sure! I can't always go out to hunt, but I almost always find something when I get to go.

nice Matt....in fact the black script label, without the size on, was still used in the 30's.the one with the size is early 40'sto 50's

i know Matt,i've seen it,but i beg to differ. dating an item is an ever evolving task .... i've got 2 garantied 30s sweaters with this tag ,from a guy who was a football player for Oregon state from 36/37 ....i've got his jersey and wool sweater from this brand ....

Could be the sweaters were made and then sat around for some time before being used. Lot's of old stores used to have stock that sat around for years.
