SC John said...: interesting photo when you look at it close.

Guys from two units 4 of them paratroopers, early in the war, so leaving the US on a ship to go to war.

You might think the rarest and most valuable stuff would be the early service shoes, and jump boots, but you would be wrong.

Its not the M41 field jacket either.
