Rubber Tomahawk Store and More....
Memorial Day weekend brought some of the warmest weather I can remember in Northern Michigan. Spent with the family on Douglas Lake, the wife and I found some time to cross the bridge to the Upper Peninsula and do a little exploring!
Here's a little place called "Indian Village". Just across the bridge in St. Ignace, the outside was better than the inside (modern and corny goods you could buy just about anywhere). They did have a nice selection of moccasins though.
Here's a shot of the mighty Mac... the Mackinac Bridge!
We also found time to stop at one of our favorite tourist traps Castle Rock. It costs a dollar to climb up there and my calve muscles are still throbbing, but the view is more than worth it!

Anvil Overalls Advertising Item
Here's a neat little display item from Anvil Overalls...go figure, it's an anvil! Saw a pair of children's overalls on Your Old Pal, Jim blog and it spurned me to search eBay. There are a couple of these up there in the $200 range with a BIN.

PF Flyer Archival Re-Issues
Many of the archival re-issues from PF Flyers were previously unavailable in the U.S.. Now up on Zappos, I picked up a pair of the Rambler Hi-Tops as my summer kicks:
Also available are the Bob Cousy, Grounder and Sumfun models.

1930's 1940's Salt & Pepper Work Pants
Here's the real deal! Posted by Lefty on SuperFuture, these are spectacular! Long gone on eBay, I'm sure they punched a hole in somebody's budget.
