SFVM New Chore Caps!

The San Fernando Valley Mercantile Co. has just made available for purchase this fantastic new Bear Brand chore cap. I have one of their earlier caps and it's in top rotation in my cap collection. Be sure to pick one up as I'm sure they'll go fast.

Just in case you didn't already know, SFVM & Bear Brand are the genius of workwear collector Warren over at the Vintage Workwear Blog. Everything that Warren does oozes quality and authenticity!

1950's Carhartt Chore Caps

Both incorrectly listed as 1940's, these two caps went for $204 and $253 respectively. Quite a heft sum to pay for a cap of any era! Also surprised that the thin striped version went for less money as it's definitely rarer and more attractive in my opinion (eBay monkey business perhaps?).

1940's Lee Chore Cap

This is one fine Lee housemark label chore cap with chain stitch on the front. Selling for $415, there seems to be no ceiling on what the market will pay for vintage workwear still. 

1940's Union Made Lee Chore Cap

This size 7 1/2 Lee chore cap sold for a cool $123 on eBay. Still in great shape, it has a patina that only time and wear can create!

1940's Vintage Carhartt Chore Cap

Here's another eBay OMFG moment....over $300 for a chore cap! Super nice with hickory stripes, I'm sure the auction results exceeded the sellers expectations:
