Shazam! Almost $700 for this plain Jane shawl collar from the 1930's. Killer, but wow what a final value! Wonder if we'll see it walking around on the Boardwalk Empire set next season?
just another trend pushed by jcrew wearing GQ reading new york and SF hipsters .......30's has been the magic word on ebay lately .people without any knowledge on vintage over using it to push a sale .i bed you the same morons who paid top $ for average vintage this year, are going to ditch them on ebay next year ......i can't wait .
oops, i meant $ not £ above. that would be about £800. i can't imagine film/TV costume departments spending that amount on individual pieces, but you might be right.

once more we have reached the limits of decency.....if i had that much dough to throw away i'd rather shoot for a descent A-2....ahahah.
No doubt...too much to pay for a sweater!
shawl collar cardigans are going absolutely crazy... there was a black one with yellow edging not long ago that went for £1200 !

I still think it's the buyers for Hollywood driving the price up...this shit gets sold later on, but probably not on eBay.

I know that Boardwalk Empire purchased a bunch of 1920's suits for $700 each...you'd be lucky to get $50 for one on most days.
