1940's Hercules Leather Trimmed Wool Work Jacket

Marked as "50's" in the eBay auction listing, I think this one dates at least as far back as the 1940's. Simple, yet one of the coolest jackets you could find from the era! Sold for $499...prices keep going up!

Nice jacket...missed it on ebay. Likely late 30s, judging by the side belts and fantail zip.

Nice post - I would've dropped at least a grand on this had I known. What size was it? I wouldn't dare log into my eBay account here in Afghanistan in an unsecured WiFi, so I can't view ended auctions.
