That's a $500+ sweater today!
At least! It probably didn't even cost $5 new...
The patch on the sweater is from the St Louis Terriers Baseball Club. They were in existence from 1914-1915. I would love to see an accurate recreation of this sweater. I would easily pay $500.
Interesting. I thought shawl collars were more of 20s-30s style, but I guess they started earlier than that. Killer sweater for sure, but personally I'd prefer one without the logo.(I'm a long way from Saint Louie)
I'm sure they were knitting them on the Aran Islands long before that!
